Lal Bahadur Shastri Smriti Bhawan Sangrahalay was established in 2007. This museum is dedicated to Bharat Ratna Late Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji, the second Prime minister of India. He spent his childhood in Varanasi living in maternal grandfather's house at Ramnagar. The house of Shastri Ji has been converted into a museum which showcases his life history, lifestyle, his rooms like the kitchen, bedroom, etc. that consist of simple daily life products.   

The lifestyle of Shastri Ji is well portrayed by maintaining his house giving it an appearance similar to his time. At the entrance, an image of Shastri Ji is displayed followed by his life history and the timeline in the first hall as one enters. 

The whole setting is easily relatable to his time and space he used to live in. This museum is created beautifully with a peaceful environment using a similar building material finish. It is an interesting residential personalia museum dedicated to this great leader of India.
