Briefly describe the history of the museum, its collection and donors.

A delight for most children, the Science Park has a variety of galleries such as automobile, energy, climate change and fun-science. Each gallery covers more than 600 square feet of area and has large, colourful and interactive science demonstrations and puzzles that people across ages can examine and play with, thus stimulating their enthusiasm and excitement for science. Many of the galleries also highlight the new contributions in the scientific spectrum and the amalgamation of science and the environment--demonstrated especially by the energy and climate galleries. They explain various concepts like tides, continental drifts, the occurrence of light and sound, and the vitality of marine animals; along with elements of advanced science that have given rise to various facets of automobiles and other energy sources. Visitors can even enjoy a live demonstration of their own driving skills!

 The 3D science show, sky observation programme and the Taramangal show are also extremely popular. The park also has many outdoor centres like the Dino Park and the Outdoor Park, which have large geometric and functional instruments. The 280 interactive installations at the museum cater to more than 800 people per day in the holiday season.
