Description
When the subcontinent was Partitioned in 1947, millions of people on both sides of the border were forced to migrate, often at a moment’s notice. In this walk, we’ll focus on objects carried by people across the borders to tell the stories of their pre-Partition lives, their journeys during the Partition, and the manner in which they rebuilt their lives, as well as their thoughts on the land, people and friendships left behind.
