Nad Sadhna Institute for Indian Music and Research Centre

Nad Sadhna Institute for Indian Music and Research Centre is an organisation fully dedicated to Indian music.  The institute has an exclusive museum of musical instruments and is located on the first floor of a building in a residential area in Ram Nagar Extension, Sodala. It comprises mainly of instruments used in folk and classical music in India. Instruments such as kamaichya, ravanhathha, Sindhi sarangi, jogia sarangi, chikara, iktara, surinda, naagphani, and many more are displayed in the museum. Baba Allaudin Khan's esraj and surbahar which were once practised in Gwalior darbar are also a part of this eminent collection. Additions to this already vibrant bunch are hang drum and royal standard accordion that make the museum even richer.

It is also a place where researchers in music education, professionals in related fields, as well as undergraduate, post graduate and PhD scholars, students and enthusiasts, can get together in a virtual exchange of information and knowledge in the field of music education, musical performance and technology of musical instruments. 

The organisation is led by Dr. Ashwin M. Dalvi, an established Surbahar player of the country, who has gone through his music training under the able guidance of his illustrious father Sri Mahesh D. Dalvi and eminent Sitar maestro Pandit Arvind Parikh from Itawah gharana of Indian instrumental music.
