Description

Established in 1956, Crafts Museum owns a collection of roughly 33,000 artefacts and displays 5,000 objects including puppets, wooden and bronze sculptures, paper mache and everyday objects. The highlight of the museum is its textile gallery, which is one of a kind and often compared with Calico Museum, Ahmedabad. A tranquil oasis in a fast-paced city like Delhi, it’s truly magnificent. In this walk through the museum, join us to view a short documentary on the museum, take a walk through the open-air galleries for live interaction with skilled craftsmen and purchase collectibles from all over India.

This guided tour is for free.
