The name of the museum, LOCK stands for Lovers of Old Collectables and Knick-knacks, which truly reflects the collection acquired by Doctor Hiren Shah, who is a paediatrician. From old keys, locks, sculptures, to antique furniture - every object has a personal history. All objects are beautifully displayed inside the owner's house in such a way that it creates a lyrical language of the old juxtaposed with the new. Some of the interesting objects are the 250 year old jharoka bought in 200 pieces from a village in south India, and numerous locks of different shapes and sizes.
