The Yashlaxmi Numismatic Museum houses Mr Narendra Tole's vast personal collection of coins and notes. He began collecting coins when he was very young, and the museum now has a systematically arranged assortment of currencies from countries like France, Australia and Canada. In total, the museum possesses 60,000 notes along with 25,000 coins from 220 countries across the globe.
The museum is a part of Mr Tole's house, and the owner himself gives visitors tours of his collection. He has won several accolades and was the Chairperson of the Numismatics Society. His name is also noted in the Limca Book of Records for being the most avid coin collector in India.
